All these Baked Chicken Tacos would be an ideal dinner recipe. Stuffed with cheese, chicken and beans then baked till crispy.
We’ve got tacos at least one time every week around and those Baked Chicken Tacos are a favored. These tacos are experienced with taco seasoning, green chilies and salsa.
If you’d like a bit more spice then attempt diced jalapenos rather than chilis. I add a beans into the bottom then my seasoned-chicken and shredded-cheese.
I love serving ours topped with a few of our favorite taco toppings.
- Diced Avacado
- Shredded lettuce
- Sour Cream
- Diced Tomatoes
I used the stand & stuff-taco shells for this particular recipe to be certain that my tacos would well. You can use regular taco-shells but might likely use nearer to 12 taco shells rather than the 9 I utilized because they are smaller.

Easy Baked Chicken Tacos
- 1 lb chicken-breast, cooked and shredded
- 1 cup colby-jack-cheese, shredded
- 16 oz refried-beans
- 1 tbsp taco-seasoning or more to taste
- 9 taco shells
- 2 tbsp green-chilies
- In a mixing-bowl blend cooked and grilled chicken-breast with taco-seasoning, green chilies and salsa.
- Preheat oven to 350°F then prepare a casserole-dish with non-stick cooking-spray then stand-taco shells inside.
- Spoon in refried-beans into the bottom of each shell. Top with chicken then shredded-cheese.
- Bake for 10 minutes or till cheese is melted. Remove from oven & serve topped with your favorite taco-toppings.
