The traditional side dish into Jambalaya is steamed rice, however, you may also serve it on several black eyed peas to get an amazing and effortless meal. Alternatively you may also incorporate a few Homemade Cornbread or baguettes.
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts skinless, boneless, cut into chunks
- 1 large onion chopped
- ½ tsp cayenne-pepper
- 2 cups chicken-broth
- 1 lb andouille-sausage links sliced
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 lb shrimp 13-15 count
- 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
- 1 red-bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp cajun-seasoning

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts skinless, boneless, cut into chunks
- 1 large onion chopped
- ½ tsp cayenne-pepper
- 2 cups chicken-broth
- 1 lb andouille-sausage links sliced
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 lb shrimp 13-15 count
- 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
- 1 red-bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp cajun-seasoning
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients except the shrimp to the slow-cooker and stir fry.
- Cook on low about 7-8 hours or on high about 3-4 hours, at the past 15 minutes include in the shrimp.
- Serve over rice.
